I am crying … 2 DAESANGS?!

ARMY and BTS really came a loooong way. From a group who got edited out in shows and barely won any awards in 2 years after debuting. Here we are winning 7 awards including 2 Daesangs (Grand prizes) in one freaking night. Tears cannot define the pain we went through to arrive here. But tears of joy can express how everything was worth it after all. When things do not come easily their value becomes even grander. Like I have been proud to be an ARMY when we had nothing. I am proud to be an ARMY today. Thank you ARMY AND BTS for working so hard. Thank you.

BTS WON THE FOLLOWING:

  • BEST MALE DANCE PERFORMANCE: IDOL
  • BEST CHOREOGRAPHY WINNER: SON SUNGDEUK  (BTS’ CHOREOGRAPHER)
  • POPULARITY AWARD (First one since debut)
  • BEST MALE GROUP
  • BEST PRODUCER AWARD:  BANG SIHYUK (BTS’ CEO and PRODUCER) 
  • BEST DIGITAL ALBUM OF THE YEAR (DAESANG): LOVE YOURSELF ANSWER
  • ARTIST OF THE YEAR (DAESANG): BTS

How long do awards show generally run? MGAs start at 2am my time but I might end up waking up for BTS since I’m pretty sure they should be one of the last, if not the last act to perform anyways (and I have class so I need my sleep I crey)

According to the set list HERE BTS will be performing twice. The first time at roughly 7:05pm KST (10:05am GMT) with Charlie Puth (Charlie puth ‘See You Again’. Charlie Puth and Jungkook ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’. Charlie Puth and BTS ‘Fake Love’) The second at roughly 9:30pm KST (12:30pm GMT)
