Ahhh trying to pick a favourite song is so hard!! But the song the probably means the most to me is Whalien 52 because it just put into words how I would feel at school, just being surrounded by people but still feeling alone. And the fact that BTS had done such a great job at describing it made me feel that they understood and that I wasn’t alone. My favourite line is “The fact that no matter how much they shout, it won’t reach/Makes them so gravely lonely that they quietly shut their mouths”

Lately, I found myself crying to this song as I read somewhere someone says after BTS made it “The whale was finally heard”

I hope you will feel less lonely dear at school and find great friends.

my favorite old bts song that i still listen to constantly is 24/7 Heaven. There’s nothing really too profound in the message but this song carries itself in the way that it’s so bubbly! whenever i feel down, this is the song i listen to because it reminds me of the days when i was just getting to know them and discovering new things from bts made “my heart pound like a kid.” it makes me feel giddy and boosts my mood. the vid that really did it for me was their live performance in HYYH On Stage

I love how laid back they look in the live yet their voices are so amazing and stable

I associate Hip-hop Phile with the hard time they had to be considered as hip-hop artists and for the rap line to be taken seriously. In that terrible interview Yoongi and Namjoon had soon after their debut when they were told by a rapper(I forgot his name ) they couldn’t be real rappers bc they wore makeup and were idols, you can see how upset they are. Other groups face it too. As if you couldn’t be an idol and a rapper, just bc some people have this idea of toxic masculinity, you know ?

Yes you could totally feel their anger in their tone and lyrics but also their passion and love for Hip Hop

I could have said The Last from Agust D but it’s already been done so I’m gonna go with N.O! It’s the song that got me into BTS, I had heard Boy in Luv before but when I read N.O’s lyrics, I realised BTS truly was a band that cared about what they said and understood the impact they had on people. My favourite line is “Adults tell me that hardships are only momentary”, I find it very powerful and relatable. (And apart from that I love your blog, thanks a lot for all your posts ♥!)
